RSS

RSS is smart. It saves time. I'm changing from bloglines to google reader. If you know of any sites you think I'd be interested in reading… leave them in the comments.

I suspect I don’t subscribe to any feeds you don’t (except maybe the DesiringGod blog.

I’m interested, though, in why you chose google reader. I use Snarfer – purely because I wanted one that wasn’t browser-based. From there, it was a matter of picking one.

I like having them in a separate program, its like an email client. No browsing or logging on. C’est super!

i started on google reader a year or so ago… but it was still in its early days.
    so i went to bloglines.
i like it… but want to rearrange it.
thought i’d gradually go back to google. they have good shortcut buttons… and they have a cool way of sharing feeds on blogger.
basically i’m a big fan of all the google integration (I’m getting sucked in!)

i’ve considered using offline ones… i don’t want to clutter my computer… and google reader also has a feature were it can save the last 2000 posts and view them offline.

btw – i sub to desiring God blog.

I’d engage in a spot of self-promotion, but then I realised that you wanted people to let you know of sites you’d actually be interested in reading :)

You know, none of that makes any sense to me. Well, I understand the last sentence, but the other stuff might as well be gobbledegook!

    hey dave,

i just added you!! nice subtle way of doing self-promotion! reverse psychology??

michelle – check out the RSS link to wikipedia to understand what the heck i’m talking about… particularly if you check out more than 10 blogs and websites regularly… it saves heaps of time!!!
