I do hope that either SGM does what is right and correct what problems they have or God does what purifying is required to purify His Church.

i don’t know the ins and outs of all that’s gone down. i pray that people who’ve been hurt will find healing and comfort in Jesus and his people. it sucks that Christians hurt each other. i also pray that sgm pastors and exec etc will become aware of any blindspots and repent where appropriate.

Thanks for your empathy. I really wasn’t that badly hurt by SGM.

I do this from the multiple cases of abuse by Sovereign Grace Ministries that I read about including those that I have first hand knowledge about.

I am glad that these abuses including the group’s pattern of abuse are starting to come to light so people can be aware. In the past if one searched for Sovereign Grace Ministries all one would find is glowing reports of them and not able to find the questionable acts they have done.

Realize these blogs have also been a source of healing for those who have suffered abuse at the hands of SGM.

What is really sad is SGM’s apparent lack of concern with what is now coming to light. Mahaney a long time talked about one error that Solomon made was that he became at ease with conflict. I appears that Mahaney is doing that now.

i’m sorry if you’ve been hurt by the ministry of SGM.
i pray that you wouldn’t give up on Jesus.
