Well-known Christian apologist and all-round smart dude, Dr James White, will be speaking in Sydney and Brisbane over the upcoming week. “James White is the director of Alpha and Omega Ministries, a Christian apologetics organization based in Phoenix, Arizona. He is the author of more than twenty books, a professor, an accomplished debater, and an elder of the Phoenix Reformed Baptist Church.”
Here’s the itinerary:
- Sunday 16 August 7pm: Preaching at Christ Church Inner West on ‘Why seemingly sane people say they actually know Jesus’ (see Katay’s post)
- Monday 17 August 12-2pm: Debating Abdullah Kunde on “A Guide to Humanity: ‘The Qur’an or the NT’ at New Law Lecture Theatre 101 Sydney University
- Monday 17 August 4-6pm: Lecture – Engaging with Islam at Chemistry Lecture Theatre 1 Sydney University
- Wednesday 19 August 7:30pm: Seminar at St Augustine’s Anglican (Neutral Bay) on “Justification and the uniqueness of Jesus” (an offering of $10 will be taken to help with the costs of bringing James to Sydney)
- Friday 21 August – Saturday 22 August: The Glory of the Atonement conference @ Grace Bible Church Brisbane.
