Here's a few question marks for me:

1. Do the problems with analysing 1Cor from a Gr-Rom literary point of view more show how silly literary analysis gets, rather than then need to interpret it through another grid?

2. The flee/honour verses are not noticeably central, structural markers to me.

3. The lawsuits stuff doesn't fit neatly, and doesn't get explained neatly.

4. I'm a bit over the conviction that NT writers has detailed and totally brilliantly cohesive structures for their books.

5. 1Cor 8-14 seems to be about a range of diverse issues, and it seems misrepresentative to see the primary issue in 8-10 as fleeing idolatry.

6. Breaking off chapter 4 at verse 17 kind of annoys me.

Do you buy it? I read a Rosner article arguing for it a few years ago... and I don't buy it.

PS Thanks for linking to an outline.
