“Motives And Thoughts” Lauryn Hill (Def Poetry)

The world would be a better place if more people were into poetry. Appreciate this:

MC Shamrock approves of this shizzle.

    Brilliant!

Checked out the old MC Shamrock posts. Pretty sweet.
Stoked he points to Brethren. Those guys kill it.
Brings me back to the days Junksion used to hiphop jam with Brethren and Krosswordz at Blackstump Festival

    Hey Joel,

Yeah the Stump days were (as the Mustard crew used to say) “flippin dope” …

Are you in Syd? We should rock down to Krosswerdz sometime! I still haven’t been (to my shame!)…

    Mark
    A.k.a Shamrock!

hey eargney – i just watched some of those lauryn hill 2010 vids from aus and nz. some okay stuf – but most filming is pretty sketchy mobile phone hand wobble versions.

she needs to do another album… maybe we set up a petition?/

  6. Mark Earngey March 17, 2010 at 12:22 am #

dude, i’ll head to krosswerdz with you for sure. it’d be awesome i reckon.

re: lauryn. totally. i wonder if we could do the first ever Facebook group that gets the album happening!! kind of like the Rage Against the Machine thing that got them Top of the Pops!

    joel,

yeah I know djp and scottyb – i used to be in the 206collab and did a few gigs with scotty back in the days! and we did a few things at the stump with djp. do you know oakbridge? i’ve got a track with him on it!

yeah, miers – hook it up!

  9. joelpj March 17, 2010 at 10:07 am #

ah sweet. yeah i shared a stage with oakbridge once.
    man connections everywhere!

i checked your blog – do you have a link to some of your tunes?

  10. Mark Earngey March 17, 2010 at 1:16 pm #

    ah, awesome dude. small world!

hmmm, tunes. not really. there’s a couple of videos on Youtube (with my vocals but no vid coz i’d recently left!) if you search for “206collab” … also, on the http://www.hatonrack.com website there’s a video of an impromtu verse I did last year with the old crew…. hmmm, but beyond that…

well, maybe you can give me some legal advice – since our record label went under, do you reckon I could upload our album to the web for free?

  11. davemiers March 17, 2010 at 9:09 pm #
