I’m Here – short film by Spike Jonze

I’m Here is a 2010 Spike Jonze short film. It’s a beautiful love story between two robots. Well shot. Good story. It’s loosely based on the 1964 children’s book The Giving Tree.

Watch the 30 minute film for free here. (Here’s the trailer)

(h/t Dave Irving – he’s blogging regularly again, worth checking out)

    Love Spike Jonze.
Love The Giving Tree (Kat’s parents gave it to me for Christmas one year).

    Did you like it???

I’m sure they gave you that book to encourage you to do the right thing by their daughter!!

    I thought it was great!

Couldn’t help but notice the robots’ resemblence to Jonez and ex-wife Sofia Coppola (but perhaps that’s reading too much into it).

Re: Kat’s parents giving me the book – never thought of it way, ha!!
