I’ve just updated my design portfolio. I used the NextGEN Gallery plugin – it’s easy to use and uber-customisable. I’ll be adding some more projects soon.
If you need some design work done… let me know how I can help.

Here is my Bible Reading plan for 2009: PDF or EXCEL (adpated from bibleyear.com). I plan to read the whole Bible this year. Reading a few chapters from 1 Old Testament book each day and one chapter from 1 New Testament book each day. I think this plan is more achievable than the M’Cheyne/Carson plan that seeks to read the OT once and the NT and Psalms twice each throughout the year from 4 different books per day. Never read the Bible? Start here then here.

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him…
…For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. (Psalm 33:6-11)

Prince Harry is in trouble again. I reckon how he should behave as a royal, is a little like how a Christian should behave. Harry didn’t do anything to become part of the Royal Family. He doesn’t deserve to be 3rd in line for the throne. But, because he is part of that family, he needs to live worthily of the name he carries. Philippians 1:27 says to live “in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.” Christians don’t deserve to be Christian. Christians don’t deserve to be members of God’s family and co-heirs with Christ. BUT nonetheless they are to live worthily of the name that they carry. Just a thought.

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls…
…yet I will rejoice in the LORD I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. (Habakkuk 3:17-19)

Yo bro, the mo had to go, but you can still give it some dough, so go! Put it this way, remaining married for the rest of November was more important to me than cultivating the 3 hairs above my lip. Hope you’re having a killer weekend. Peaceout.

You’ve been waiting for it. I’ve received email after email requesting a photo, and comment after comment from strangers impressed by my moustache growing abilities. It’s quite bushy, no really, it’s just blonde and hard to see from a distance (though it now has a 6.5m visibility threshold). Go on… give my Mo some money!
