During the last 5 weeks I’ve been slowly working through the opening chapters of Genesis as part of the #BibleStott bible reading plan. I was struck again by how much of a let down Genesis 3 is after Genesis 1-2! There is a glimmer of hope in Genesis 3:15 where it says that the offspring of Eve will crush the head of the serpent. That’s Jesus and that’s good news. But nonetheless, sin is still terrible and Genesis 3 and the downward spiral of sin in the subsequent chapters is sad news.
Prolifik Films has produced a thought provoking short film introducing sin and the fall. “Free Fall doesn’t provide a resolution or call to action, but serves to creatively set up the topic of sin & brokenness, or our desperate need for redemption.” Here it is:
