  1. A good thing to know for Windows users is that MS is providing cheap upgrades from Vista to Windows 7 so look for them when 7 comes out later this year as opposed to buying a full educational version.

  2. it has to be a uni or TAFE email address – not a school email address (which I have).

    shame, I thought I could upgrade on the cheap :(
