The Egyptian Revolution

Crazy stuff happening in Egpyt! Last night after Mubarak said he wasn’t going to let go of the Presidency I tweeted this: “the current leader of egpyt seems almost as stubborn as the guy who lead the country 3500 years ago when the Jews were in captivity!”Waking up this morning, the news was different. He’d handed over rule to the military. Pretty significant stuff after a month of protesting and 30 years in power. John Piper tweeted this earlier: “In Egypt’s 5,000 years as a unitary state, these people have never been able to choose their government before.” (BBC) After 5000 years, there’ll be big changes ahead.

Every revolution needs people to stand on a bus in celebration! (Pic taken in Tahrir Square) There are lots of amazing photos on news and social media sites that help to capture the emotion of such momentous news. Facts about Egypt to pray from.

  1. the only problem is that after listen to a couple of coptic christians who fled egypts persecution on 103.2 the other night and speaking to my egyptian friends while mubarak was bad its not an if but when the muslim brotherhood take over ( the big organisation behind hamas in palistine and they are also behind the leadership or iran) when they take over it is goin to be worse in egypt then ever especially if you are a christian they will be killed off without a doubt.
according to jihad watch.com and voice of the matyrs in the middle east in 2009 – 2010 the muslims have been on a big campaign of killing and trying to drive out christians out of the middle east bigger than ever seen and they fear now even worse.

so better to pray for christians now then ever b4 in the middle east pray for strength and endurance and reliance on Christ to not only get them through this but never lose sight of Him and the mission they have in preaching the gospel letting His light shine before men.

    1. All Muslims in Egypt love the christian, and no one want to kill anyone , I am from Egypt and we really loves them and we always help them in everything and they also do the same (:
