Baptism Pictures

It’s taken a while, but on Saturday, I got baptised. Some basic video footage was taken, particularly for family who couldn’t make it on the day. I’m having some problems uploading it. You can find out why it took me so long to get baptised by watching the vid… in the meantime check out some pics. EDIT: Here’s the video

Some family and a couple of friends were there at Terrigal Haven as I shared some testimony stuff and then Tim Baldwin baptised me. EDIT: Here’s the video

The King who RULES

It’s stupid to follow dead people. If Jesus is dead, don’t follow him! If Jesus is still in the grave, he’s not worthy of your worship! One part of the Bible says that Christians are to be pitied above anyone else if Jesus didn’t rise physically from the dead.

The King who Rules

Jesus isn’t dead. He’s more alive than ever. He is the Risen Ruler of the Universe! When Jesus first appeared to his homies, for some reason, Thomas wasn’t there (John 20:24). And so when the disciples said to Thomas that they’d seen Jesus alive again, Thomas didn’t believe them (John 20:25). Thomas wanted evidence.

Break it Down #2

I really enjoyed watching the Melbourne Victory vs Adelaide United A-League Football (Soccer) grand final last night. It was a gritty match with some bad refereeing decisions. While Adelaide played well in patches, I think that Melbourne deserved the win. The highlight was seeing Roddy Vargas’ undershirt “I love Jesus.” Very cool. Here’s a pic.

Kaka is also known for wearing Jesus t-shirts under his soccer jersey. It was a capacity crowd, 54000, at last night’s game. This got me thinking. Where do A-League crowds rank compared to other football codes in Australia? Here’s what I found on wikipedia:
