5 Christmas Albums That Don’t Suck

I really like Christmas carols: rich theology and a joyful celebration of the one who came to be more than just a cute and cuddly baby! But when it comes to music style and production quality, so many of the Christmas albums I’ve heard are pure cheese! Look no further. 1. I was given Sufjan Stevens 5 Christmas albums this year and I can’t get them off rotation. He does classics as well as some very haunting tracks that portray what Christmas is like for probably a lot of people.

You may like this song Dave, begins with a sad christmas day, but ends with looking to the resurrection for hope
    Check it here

  2. If you check the videos on the right of that link, there is a great version of Holy Holy Holy, and my favourite “sister winter”, which is about him not being grateful for all the good things about Christmas.

  3. yeah really liked the ‘worst christmas ever’ song.

just starting holy holy holy… beautiful.

    will try sister winter.

sufjan stevens is one of those guys i hear about often… and probably should know better. so thanks for the links!
