The Bible TV mini-series has just finished airing in Australia. I think it was excellent and had many conversations with believers and non-believers alike about the Bible throughout the series. Perhaps you watched it and are interested in investigating more about Jesus and the Bible. If so, below are some possible ways you can follow it up.
- www.thebibleau.tv – this site includes a brief video from the producers and an opportunity to get a free copy of the bible mailed to you
- www.bible.com/app – “The Bible App” has been downloaded on over 100 million devices. It’s got all sorts of videos and reading plans available to help you read along.
- www.biblesociety.org.au – The Bible Soceity have produced a series of short videos reviewing each of the episodes.
- www.thechristfiles.com.au – ‘The Christ Files’ is an excellent documentary on whether we can actually trust the documents recording the events of Jesus. It’s made by acclaimed historian John Dickson.
- www.christianityexplored.org – Christianity Explored includes two things: a course run all around the world where you can investigate Christianity by reading what the Bible says about Jesus; and lots of Q+A in written and video form to all sorts of questions about Christian things.
- www.epicstory.net – This is a site I helped to make with 16 short videos that the Bible Society produced. The videos are of me providing an interactive reading guide to the 16 chapters of Marks’ biographical account of Jesus.
- www.publicchristianity.org – The Centre for Public Christianity is a not-for-profit media company that offers a Christian perspective on contemporary life.
- www.iamsecond.com – a series of videos of people who have been impacted by the story of Jesus.
