Last week On the Poddy had 631 downloads!!! Not all of them were through iTunes… but we peaked at number 6 on the iTunes charts. We are currently sitting just outside the top25.
Our new podcast CCECYOUTH TALKCAST, is currently sitting at number 14.
Make sure you go and check them out and subscribe in iTunes to help us stay in the top25.
Nice work guys!
Here’s an interesting story about ‘viral marketing’…. maybe some good ideas in it…
“Sandi Thom, an unknown singer-songwriter who built up a huge following on the internet, has leapt to number one on the British charts with her debut single.
The 24-year-old Scot shot to fame after claims that her live performances in the basement of her home were being watched by 100,000 people on the web.
The revelation made her an instant hero of the cyberspace generation and helped her song I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker head straight to the top of the charts.”
Apparently, she grossly exaggerated the claims of how many people were watching her live performance…. and consequently everyone DID watch it….

mental note
***grossly exaggerated the claims of how many people are listening to poddy…***
Thats what we’re on about here at CCECYOUTH, not viral marketing but… pandemic marketing!
