I probably have an abnormally high number of teenagers as friends online compared to the average 33 year old. But that makes sense, my job involves hanging out with teenagers and I’ve done speaking around the place to large crowds of them.
Young person. I need your help.
Over the last couple of months, readers of this blog and other online friends have helped to raise $4160 towards a toilet block and clean water for a community in Indonesia. It’s a project with Compassion and you can read all about it in this post and in this update.
$4160 is awesome! But I’m keen to reach $5000 in the next 5 days.
Do the maths, that’s $840.
If 84 teenagers were to give $10 each. We’d be there!
Can you help?
$10 is pretty much a combo meal at most fast food restaurants or a coffee and banana bread at a cafe. It might not seem like much to you, but it can make a big difference in the lives of young people in Indonesia. You can see in post 1 and post 2 why I reckon this is an important project.
I’m guessing you don’t have a credit card. But maybe if you gave your parents $10 they might be happy to let you use their credit card of paypal account.
