Free Music Friday 03 // Garage Hymnal – I Am

Garage Hymnal are one of the foremost praise and worship bands in Australia. The 8-piece pop rock outfit play regularly in churches, youth groups and special events. They are currently leading the music over the 3 weekends of KYCK 2010. Give away #1 – They have made their track “I AM” available for FREE DOWNLOAD (link below).

    I went to KYCK for the first time on 9-11th with my church’s Youth Group and had an AWESOME TIME!
    It was the first time I’d heard Garage Hymnal but I’m keen-as to learn some of their stuff on guitar!

  9. Thanks for the song. GarageHymnal have a very different style to that which I am used to but I still enjoyed hearing them at KYCK as I did your talks on KYCK #1 &#2. (Yes I went twice. Got to lead two different youth groups.) I could have competed for ‘person/group who travelled the furthest to get to KYCK’ on #1 as I had to come from Melbourne but as such i couldnt get there until the end of talk2.

  16. wow… people from tassie. Im not actually from Melb. but I was down for the week for inter-uni things and didnt finish until Friday night and then I had to fly up on the first flight back to Sydney

    Honestly I dont think I could differentiate between #1 and #2. They were two completely different (but still enjoyable) experiences. I was leading two completely different youth groups and it was two very different crowds but if one must, I personally would say KYCK 1 just for the amazing experience it was being my first KYCK ever

  24. yes. might as well try again. Good to know complete randomness is being created from atmospheric noise 0_o I remember back in the HSC doing Software and using a random number generator in my project which anything but random. (The results were highly skewed)

  33. Went to Kyck and was really encouraged. Loved the singing sessions with so many other christians :) Talks were amazing as well! Praise God :)

    Had a FAB time with the youth from the SOUTH singing, praising and reflecting to the songs from Garage Hymnal during KYCK.

    Would seriously love to have a copy of their new album.
    Maybe for me or for one of the youths ^^
