Potato Peach Pizza

Okay. Here’s the deal. Dave was on dinner tonight. He served Row the leftovers from last night’s delicious fried rice. Then he created, reportedly, the “best pizza of the year”.

Potato + Peach + Pizza = WOW!! Here’s the recipe:

  • Lebanese bread
  • BBQ sauce
  • Mixed herbs
  • Grated carrot
  • Left over baked potatoes
  • Tinned peaches
  • Grated cheese

I’m thinking of passing the recipe onto GPK. What do you think I should call it? Warm fuzzy for the best suggestion…

Word up

Last week we started going to church at Willoughby. Today ‘word’ started. It’s a Sunday arvo year 7-9 Bible study group. Good times.

word

We kicked off by looking at “God’s Word on God’s Word” from 2 Timothy 3:15-17

  • The Bible tells us how we can we saved by Jesus (v15)
  • The Bible is God’s Voice to us (v16)
  • The Bible equips us to live God’s way (vv16-17)

We watched 'Kung-Fu Panda' with 10,000 people outside ANZ Stadium

They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” (Rev 7:9-10)

you: an introduction | by michael jensen

You don’t have to look too far to realise that “life is all about me”. Here is the most recent addition to my collection of me-centred narcissistic paraphernalia. It’s a t-shirt. Actually, Yes, The World Does Revolve Around ME!

But I’m not so stupid to believe that the world really revolves around me? Am I? Are you? Often I am. Often you are. The problem is: we hear this message so often, that we actually start to believe it.

It’s into this context that Michael Jensen has written a book called you: an introduction. It might sound like it’s a book all about you. It is. And it isn’t.
