At least 85 Christians have been killed while they gathered at All Saints Anglican Church in Peshawar, Pakistan this last weekend. Two suicide bombers posed as police officers to make their way into the church of more than 400 people. The total number killed is still unclear, but could be as high as 200. It’s being called the deadliest attack on Christians in Pakistan.
200 million Christians around the world live under the constant threat of persecution. So while it’s normal for Christians to be persecuted and even targeted, it’s still heartbreaking, nonetheless. Christianity is so comfortable in the part of Sydney I live in. It’s hard to imagine such an event!
