Picture Comp #002

Nothing profound to say today. So after the roaring success of the last picture comp… drum roll please… Introducing… P.I.C.T.U.R.E. C.O.M.P. #.0.0.2.

1) Which well-known Sydney cafe is this?
You want a clue? Row and I were visiting my sister who lives on campus of a well-known Christian institution in Sydney. From what I know this is a popular cafe even amongst the likes of some of our coffee snobs!

Do you know the one? I gave it a double thumbs up.
2) If you know it… why is it so good? What do you like about it?

Prize for first correct answer (suburb + name of cafe) to question #1 – next time I’m there if you happen to be nearby I will buy you a coffer. To question #2 – you can buy yourself one…

PS – issue #338 of the briefing arrived in the post today. The issue is on the prosperity gospel. I’ve read half of it already. Our Senior Pastor wrote a great article:

  6. Campos! a long drive for a coffee dave! Surely there must be quality coffee shops on the coast… but then again???

  9. I have no idea about coffee or anything, but, from the comments of my learned colleagues, i would assume is is Campos in Camperdown.

    I have it on good authority (namely from my coffee-drinking wife) that the coast does not compare to Sydney when it comes to decent coffee. Although she has found one passable cafe apparently…Cafe Jazz in East Gosford.

    I wouldn’t know…I don’t drink the stuff :P

    you have until monday to find out the official suburb of campos.

    if you fail to get the goods… i’ll have to award an equal 1st place and take simon and sam out and they can share the coffee…

  16. Well I don’t care much for coffee, but according to the official suburb boundaries Campos is in Newtown. This map is the suburb boundaries as used by the ABS for census data.
