  1. @stan – you can do just as good

    @ben – good call!!

    @hayesy – i don’t mind some american hip hop (regular readers will know this). but there’s something cool about australian hip-hop. i hated it when i first heard it on the j’s as a 19year old – but after hearing it a bit – i like it. give it a try!

  2. Ha! Thanks boys – good times eh :)…. Anton, I’m not sure – I’ve listened to a whole bunch of ozhiphop for a while and it kind of rubbed off!! … and Haysey, now, now – don’t be a hater! I’m just trying to ‘keep it real, yo’. Seriously, though – all good bro. Can’t please all the masses right!?

    PS – Lecrae is kinda cool. Though if you’re into Christians doing hiphop, there’s a strong scene in Australia. Check these out:

    The Brethren (one of the oldest crews in Oz):

    Check out the Krosswerdz crew (a whole bunch of Christian emcees in Sydney) even getting down with Public Enemy last year:

  3. ** ACTUALLY, CHECK THIS OUT **

    I pointed you to my mates – the mighty Brethren crew. But, you’ve got to see this. It’s a videoclip they did from their last album (Beyond Underground). It’s a concept album, and this is a concept track based around the Mad Max theme. It’s truly, flippin’ dope:

    Check the other vids on there too… awesome.

  4. Earnge, you sound a bit like Del Larkin from Skunkhour. Hope that’s not an insult – I don’t think it is.
