Cheerio, Dave, a path to integrity is already laid in front of you as soon as you start asking, “is it still wrong to…?”
good luck with your exams!
don’t give me this “path to integrity business!!!”… are you my conscience?
;)
2 exams down. 4 to go.
10 essays down. 14 to go.
thanks tim.
hehe
wow, 6 exams and 24 essays!
That’s A LOT!
I mean… 24 essays! Need I say more?
the cool thing about the 24 essays is that you only have 17 hours to do them… so if it normally takes 10 hours to write an essay, you only have 30-40 minutes… so the expectation is lower and then time commitment is shorter!
Sounds like my kind of essay.
the catch is you need to remember EVERYTHING before you walk in…
You should try marking them!
i don’t envy markers at all!
if you’re marking any 1st year papers, i can tell you my student number and then i can tell you what each of my essays are worth. it will save you having to mark mine… is that helpful?
See, I was just speaking to some third years this morning, just before their ethics exam. They told me, ethics is not whether you cheat or not, but how good your argument is justifying it…
do you think ‘if i don’t cheat i’ll fail’ is a good enough justification????
steve, kate – i think you’re both onto something.
steve i’ll hide a set of study notes in cubical 3…
kate… we might need to arrange something else…
Dave it is heaps funny that you have time to blog like this in the middle of exams, if you are half as good at essays as you are at looking after davemiers.com you wont need to cheat…except for maybe in greek
i have way more time to blog during exams than any other time of the year!!!! besides it only takes 10 minutes.
