Last week we started going to church at Willoughby. Today ‘word’ started. It’s a Sunday arvo year 7-9 Bible study group. Good times.
We kicked off by looking at “God’s Word on God’s Word” from 2 Timothy 3:15-17 –
- The Bible tells us how we can we saved by Jesus (v15)
- The Bible is God’s Voice to us (v16)
- The Bible equips us to live God’s way (vv16-17)
do you tend to find with youth it’s preferable when doing a bible study to go with a more topical style like you did above, or run through a whole book?
i’ve always found topical easier with youth in redfern, and going through a book much more difficult. keen to hear your thoughts
good question. i’ll write a post on it.
