Game over for Friday Foto. This is the final one. Is it stupid to stop at 47? I don’t think so. I’ve run out of pictures – and I’m not inspired at the moment to try and take more.

Shout out to Gideons. They put Bibles in hotels and motels all around the world.

This is me on The Strad (talks). Are you staying in a motel or hotel this weekend? Have a read of Philippians. Seriously.
ps – sorry this isn’t a very creative friday foto – Row has the camera at the moment!

We watched ‘Kung-Fu Panda’ 2 weeks ago with 10,000 people outside ANZ Stadium! Big crowds make me think of the great multitude: After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.

They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” (Rev 7:9-10)

That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” (Mark 4:35-41)

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him…

…For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. (Psalm 33:6-11)

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls…

…yet I will rejoice in the LORD I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. (Habakkuk 3:17-19)

You’ve been waiting for it. I’ve received email after email requesting a photo, and comment after comment from strangers impressed by my moustache growing abilities. It’s quite bushy, no really, it’s just blonde and hard to see from a distance (though it now has a 6.5m visibility threshold). Go on… give my Mo some money!

The “Want Longer Lasting Sex?” billboard is one of the most successful advertising campaigns of its kind. After many complaints, the Advertising Standards Bureau have forced them to change the billboards. Do you think they’ve gone far enough?
