The Kiwi Odyssey has been choice bro. Sweet as. Lots of quality time with the family. Our second night was in Dunedin. It’s a beautiful city with beautiful buildings. I noticed that many of the older buildings have fire escapes on them. Kinda like the ones you see in New York movies. Here’s a trio of Dunedin fire escapes for my 3photos series:

Sam will often stand at the window watching me as I mow the lawn. It’s amazing to then see him imitating me as he pretends to mow the lawn! I appreciate knowing that my son is watching me, and I pray that I’d be a father worth imitating. Here are 3 pics of him “mowing” the lawn this past weekend. Pretty cute threads too!

So, we’ve moved to Narrabeen. The warmer weather and the beautiful outlook make it easy to go walking, running, swimming and riding often. I often take Sam for a walk early in the morning to give Row a sleep in. Below are some pics in my 3photo series from a recent early morning adventure. (I’ve just subscribed to the daily photo email from Manly-based photo crew saltmotion.com – check them out, much better than mine!)

Samuel has just turned 1. Crazy, I remember when he was just this big! Lots of friends and family came over on a gorgeous Winter’s afternoon to celebrate Sam’s birthday and to also witness his baptism. Row made a delicious World Cup Mascot cake to put the icing on a lovely day. The only negative was that we forgot to give out the party bags. If you were there with kids, please come and collect a bag before we eat them all! Here are 3 photos from the morning of Sam’s special day. On the outside looking inside.

On my way home from Tamworth, based on my brother’s strong endorsement, I stopped in at Cafe Telegraph. It’s at the north-western end of the small town Murrurundi. It’s a beautiful cafe, but the only time it’s open is for a limited window on Saturday and Sunday. My brother has been there once, but every time he drives through it’s closed! Not so for me. I haven’t tried them all, but I think it’s a safe bet that they make one of the best coffees along the New England highway. Likewise, their turnip falafel was all-time! Here are 3 photos I took there on my phone. Filtered with Format126 app.

Been on holidays. We’re back. Sweet break. Here are 3 photos of a rusty caravan in Bellingen (west of Coffs Harbour, NSW). 3photos is a new irregular photo post series.
