I recently joined the young punks from MBM Youth in Rooty Hill for The Launch camp. What a great camp! I really enjoyed hanging out with the gangsters from this fantastic youth group. Matt Sparks and his team of leaders are doing a brilliant job as they seek to ‘transform youth through Jesus to the glory of God’.

Here are the MP3s. The aim of this series from Luke’s Gospel was that young punks would be ‘radically changed by the good news of Jesus’. Praise God – there were a few on camp who either became Christian or recommitted their lives to following Jesus.

Sam Mak and Millie Sharp got married over the weekend! It was a beautiful wedding and celebration. I had lots of fun as part of Sam’s posse. Here are the boys:

Lots of my recent blog posts have been back-dated. This is no exception. Today is May 3, but I’m pretending it’s May 1. Sneaky sneaky. April has been fairly hectic. Good hectic. Really thankful for lots of opportunities to talk to people about Jesus. May will be a little less hectic, but still hopefully good! Below is my pick of the Smashing Mag May Wallpapers.

Praying Christian friends/readers: I’m currently talking to different churches/ministries about possible work for next year. I’d appreciate your prayers. Non-Christian friends: praying you’d come to know Jesus. This vid would be worth your time. Trust me.
Here’s the best of April (according to clicks) and some other stats:
Peaceout amigos.
City Alight is the new album from St Paul’s Castle Hill. It has a fresh mix of great rock and pop songs for congregational singing or passionate solos while driving in heavy traffic. I recently spent time with some of the band; they seem to be creating a great culture of grass roots song writing in their church. What a great encouragement to their church and the church more broadly! My favourite tracks are the first and last Not Alone and Forever and Always. Check their website to hear samples of each track.

Today is Compassion Day 2010. “Each year, on one action-packed day, Compassion unites with Christian radio stations across Australia to take up a mighty challenge – changing the lives of 1600 children living in poverty.” This website isn’t a radio station, but I figure it’s a good opportunity to encourage readers to be generous. // Find out more info
